When i was in elementary school some kid invited me over to his house saying that he had all these amazing toys, including star wars toys i was pretty sure didn't exist. i agreed to go over, and as we got closer, he kept saying, "this is my house" then changing his mind and saying it was further. i remember him doing cartwheels on someone's lawn and eventually i got fed up and went home. such a weird memory.

this song is from the point of view of a young boy who is asking a girl to come over to his house. she never does.
